The Cage is an accessory that allows ropes to be cleated and uncleated at an angle of up to 70 degrees, rather than only in line with the cleat.
Adding Cages to cleats fitted with Keepers will allow the helmsman or crew to adjust a control line from different positions quickly, easily, positively and without fear of accidental cleating.
Simply pull the rope back at an angle and it is guided down into the teeth. The stainless steel rear fairlead provides a long life under racing conditions.
